Simple (hopefully) Feature Request

Hi there, I have a ‘dynamic marquee’ (basically a stretched LCD screen at the top of my cabinet). It would be great if I could put an image called “_default.png” into my Marquee Image folder and Big Box use this image if there isn’t a suitable one found for the game I’m playing?

It sounds like it would be a simple addition to the routine that checks for marquee images but maybe it’s more complicated than I’m giving it credit for?

If it’s a massive hassle then obviously it’s not important but I just thought I’d ask in case it was a simple addition.

This has been asked for and the team did advise updates to marquee support will eventually come. Right now though there are other items that are being tackled. Marquee support just missed out making the cut of items being worked on from the 2019 poll. Once all those items are completed a new poll should come out and hopefully enough people will vote on marquee support for the next batch of BB upgrades.

That’s great stuff. As I said in my original post. I certainly wouldn’t rate this as anything urgent at all. Just a “nice to have”. Good to hear that it might make the poll! Cheers :-)
