I was just coming here to suggest this! It’d be phenomenal for those of us with known clean ROM files and want to patch them directly. I’m currently using an app called RomHackDB, which is decent, but I feel like Launchbox could integrate this kind of functionality directly into the database and apply in the same UI that media is downloaded.

@Kyle Telechan Yeah i know about romahckdb, somehting like this integrated could be gorgeous, but i’m fine if we just allow patches as media download. To guarantee autopatching launchbox must have a CRC check and acording to @Jason Carr is something messy.
