When collecting metadata for platforms with thousands of games like the Sinclair Spectrum or Amstrad CPC, LaunchBox has the habit of freezing during the “Finishing Up” phase of its collection. I give it 10-15 minutes but there’s no response. Today, LaunchBox completed a 7 hour metadata collection request for Arcade/MAME and froze on “Finishing Up.” However, today I got a an error message for the first time. Here it is:
