BigBox: Switch to Desktop Mode option while Locked

Only something small but it would be nice to be able to switch from using BigBox to the desktop mode while it’s Locked. All the other options are there to be made optional, so why not this one?
Currently I seem to have to either need to enter my PIN to unlock, then switch over, or I have to “Exit”, then reload the Launchbox application.

I can see your point. But if it’s one of the options that need to be ticked in the security tab to be usable in Locked mode, people won’t just have access to LB unless the person with the pin code set that way.

Yes, and then the user sets it that way, forgets it is set that way and someone now has access to LB as I mentioned before. That was the basis of my point. Not saying it will not ever be an option. If enough users vote on it things typically get added. Just stating that is likely the reason it is not currently an option.

It may be that way on purpose since the reason one would lock BigBox is to prevent someone from changing your settings. If they can now access LB without needing to know the passcode to unlock BigBox that person now can enter LB and cause all kinds of havoc.
