    Could you try to go to “Help > Force Games DB Metadata Update” and let that run. Should fix your corrupt xml. We have a process in place in the beta that should help this not happen as often.

    Hi, I got carried away and reinstalled it completely… So it is working now, haven’t lost anything.

    Could it got corrupted because I used it over a shared drive on my network through SMB ? It acted quite weirdly when doing so, crashing and stuff.

    Yeah, we have seen syncing services cause issues with those files getting corrupted and it may be the culprit.
