Launch Box crashes, endlessly

Issue #5617 new
Gieese created an issue

Am on latest 11.6, Windows10 64bit (Japanese Ver), 1909 build.

After importing some Wii games, backed up. Quited LB.

Relaunching LB, then, most of my added Wii Games are gone. (2 left, but those were added several days ago, actually in 11.5 timeframe. My guesses are probably some of the artworks downloaded were broken.. maybe?

So, since I’ve had a backup, restored it, and boom, the error comes up.

Now, I can’t quit LB.

Somehow Wii are staying there, but now, 3DS,… Very Weird.

Currently, the artworks (pictures are there ), but if I try to launch a game, gives me a dialog saying, “an error occured when launching the game: related application to this file is not set.“

I have deleted all 3ds games from Launchbox, ad re-imported.

Setted the emulator as “Citra”, gone through the importing proceedure.

Right after, saying XX games were imported. Things are fine, can launch a 3ds game by double clicking the game icon (or the game artwork), but, after exiting from Launchbox, re-launching, going back to 3ds list. Launching the same game launched after importing (as it did work 5min ago), gives me the message again “an error occured….”

Can you look in your \Launchbox\Data folder and tell me if you have any of the platform xaml file backed up there? Do you see a platform xml appearing more than once even if it is named slightly different?
