Games disappear after changing their settings

This happens with quite a few Atari 8-bit and Atari ST games:
I import the games - they appear in the list (as expected). But…
After editing their settings (e.g. add pictures or change emulation parameters) and clicking on OK, the game disappears from the game list.

Importing them again does NOT work. But I did find out, that when I open the ‘verify Atari ST…’ window, I still find the game entry in the list. When I delete the game in this list and import it again, it appears in the game list again - until I start changing the settings of the game again.

I think this mostly happens with games which are not well known and not in the online game database.

This is probably something better posted on our forum to troubleshoot as it is likely something you are editing is causing the issue. You could also have one of the hide options checked for games missing image types.

I would recommend posting on our forum and providing some pics as well. We are more active there for troubleshooting of this nature.

I would verify your hide settings and make sure that they aren’t set in a way that they would hide these games after the settings are updated.

You were both right. Still not sure why I did have different view/hide settings for different platforms, but this was the cause.
