Hey all

This issue has unfortunately broken my install of launchbox

I cannot restart the app

Please do the following and let me know if it relieves the issue.

Close LaunchBox (if not already)
Navigate to D\LaunchBox\Metadata\
Delete the Temp folder
Attempt to open LaunchBox

Hey Christian

About to go to bed but I tried to do as instructed,above before checking in on the sti3ng, but nothing occurred. The PC gave no response to the delete command.

I then tried to convert the temp fold from read only to a general folder and it stil did not allow deletion

I also thought I could open up the security on the folder to every type of user on the drive and is gave a corruption during the process and refused to complete.

I also tried to reinstall LB 11.9 from a downloaded installer but that change nothing.

I'll try the process again and take screenshots tomorrow so you get the correct error messages.

UPDATE >> the changes above I listed worked, but I still cannot access or delete the temp folder

Hi Anthony, unfortunately you may have some file system corruption here. Have you tried running chkdsk on the drive?

Turns out the fixed was to back downgrade the system then upgrade to 11.9 again.

Arbitrarily I chose 11.2. It worked out and thing are normal again.

CHKDSK was also performed prior to it with no errors
