Import of ROMs for new platform fails
I have Launchbox version 11.9 on Windows 10.
I do the following:
Import -> ROM files (wizard starts)
I select a number of ROM files.
I select a new platform (in my case: Memotech MTX512)
I select an emulator (in my case MAME)
I select ‘copy files into my Launchbox game folder’
Then select the defaults until the MAME options are displayed. I de-select ALL ignore options (nice new button btw!) and de-select the create playlists.
Now, on the wizard page I normally get a final list of the ROMs. However, with version 11.9, the list is empty.
I can complete the wizard and something starts working (and also comes to end), but 0 roms will be imported. The new platform is not created.

reporter Hello Jason,
I was using MAMEUI64 v0.224. I now updated to MAMEUI64 v0.228 but it still is the same behavior.
Then I tried Retroarch with mame_libretro and yes, now the import works as expected! However, I didn’t check if the import was correct, because setting up the whole MAME folder structure for Retroarch is a bigger move. I also prefer MAMEUI64 vs all other MAME versions.Maybe you could check what the issue with MAMEUI64 is? The whole import process worked before with previous versions of Launchbox.

Hi Heiko, what version of MAME are you running? This is usually caused by using an invalid MAME emulator.
