Scanning for Added ROMs may be broken

I try to scan for added roms and it seems immediately tell me there are none. I think we should be able to set the default folders for the roms of each system and then just click this option to scan everything and associate them with the correct default emulator. Am I wrong?

You need to make sure the Games folder of the platform is pointing to the right location. Go to Tools > Manage Platforms > (Select the platform in question) > Edit, and then go to the folders tab. That is where the tool will look for additional roms.
