If t here is a black space where the video goes, have you tried right clicking it and selecting play? Is your auto-play off? If it's not showing up at all are they turned on to show in LB?

Otherwise try downloading K-Lite Codec Pack. Run the installer and if it comes with any errors and asks to fix something, click yes and let it fix the problem. http://codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_standard.htm

Added a new VLC playback engine in the latest betas that should fix any of these video playback compatibility issues. Let me know if not and I will re-open.
