Launchbox 11.9 - not able to add rom

Issue #5912 resolved
Morten Eriksen created an issue

I was using Launchbox 11.8, with no issues at all, but after upgrading to 11.9 I cannot add emulated games any longer.

I think it might be a DirectX problem, but not sure. I have removed 11.9 completely and reinstalled 11.8 with success, but when I entered Big Box it upgraded itself, and became useless again. When adding a rom the emulator dissapears from the box, and no games are shown on the importlist at the end. “0 games were added”. I am still able to add Windows games, as they are not combined with an emulator.

Anyway I can get you to zip up your Data folder and attach it to this ticket please. Also what system are you trying to import?

Hi Christian. I enclose the data folder. Well, it is a very odd issue. Right now I am back again on 11.8, and everything is acting normal. In 11.9 its like the input fields is acting strange. When I enter options for the emulator “Teknoparrot” I can change whatever I want, but when I go back out its not in the field. I choose it once more and get along, but at the end no rom is listed for import. I dont think its related to the specific emulator, as I tried at different one, with the same result.

You still having this issue? There is a beta version out, am curious if you have it on that as well.

This may be related to a bug fixed in 11.10 beta 8. What Platform/Emulator are you selecting when importing these roms?
