LaunchBox won't launch

For the past 3 days, LaunchBox 11.9 free version will not launch, pun intended. I’ve tried tablet mode and desktop mode. In both instances, after I click on the shortcut or the app from the applist, the screen shows my Windows wallpaper, but then fails to open LaunchBox. When I try to launch using file explorer, nothing happens.

Check you antivirus to see if it quarantine LB. We have seen Windows as well as other antivirus, such as Norton, quarantine either the LB or BB .exe or even the LB or BB .dll files.

Thank you for your insight. The antivirus, Windows Defender, does not seem to be quarantining LaunchBox. My main laptop has been dropped several times, and it is possible that this is a local issue. Last night, I was able to open LaunchBox on another PC.
