Use a default marquee image while not in-game

Hello -

I am working on building an arcade cabinet to use with BigBox as the frontend, and I plan to take full advantage of the dynamic marquee functionality, because it is AWESOME.

Currently, the marquee updates while in BigBox when scrolling through the ‘wheel' - every time you switch to a different game in the wheel menu, the marquee updates with the marquee for that game.

I’d like to have a ‘themed’ cabinet, and have been working on some artwork for use with the control panel underlay, kick panel, and side artwork. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the option to select and use a ‘default’ marquee image that is displayed on my marquee screen while scrolling through the menu, and then have the marquee update with the selected game’s marquee on load. That way I can have a ‘themed’ marquee that matches my artwork when I’m not actually in-game, and also still have the dynamic, per-game marquee image when a game is actually running.

Please let me know if you need more information or clarification on this.

Thank you for your consideration.

Withdrawing this submission - After learning more about how BigBox functions, I was able to mostly accomplish this by using platform-level banner / marquee images alongside other custom images.

    Thank you.
