Multi-disc games filename for gamecube

Just requesting an additional naming convention for gamecube multi-disc games. For the typical backup launchers on actual wii/gamecube hardware it is game.iso, disc2.iso, disc3.iso… (placed within a folder of the game name) game.iso being the first disc. This convention is also recognized by dolphin. This way I don’t have 2 separate backups with different naming conventions taking up a large amount of harddrive space. Thank you.
