Errors Connecting to EmuMovies and
I started getting the same errors as another user posted on the forum with scrapping content. See this log. I get the same errors with a clean install of LaunchBox.

repo owner Hi David, unfortunately we can’t see what those errors are in that screenshot. But per the original error message, that is suggesting that for some reason LaunchBox is just not able to reach the EmuMovies servers. Are you still getting those errors if you try again today? It’s possible that EmuMovies just had some down time or something.

reporter Thanks. For some reason, Bitbucket downscaled the image to unreadable resolution. I am getting the error either with EmuMovies or LaunchBox’s Games Database. Here is the error:

reporter That is a very basic scrapping task failing for some inexplicable reason from my perspective as a user. I checked the links one by one and I have no issues downloading the content manually. I also ran downloads again across my Internet via JDownloader for another terabyte or so of data and had zero issues downloading that content. So I am a bit confused why scrapping downloads keep failing since I can rule out my physical connection.
-
repo owner Hmm, do you have any firewall apps installed? Do you have any anti-virus or anti-malware apps installed? From what I can tell, it looks like LaunchBox is just being refused all Internet connectivity.
-
reporter I can try disabling Windows Defender. But that is it. I have no third-party anti-virus.
-
repo owner Defender is what we all use, so that shouldn’t be the problem. I still can’t explain why both EmuMovies and LaunchBox can’t be reached though. You could try disabling the Windows firewall, just in case Windows is just refusing it Internet access though.

reporter EmuMovies at least resolved the issue I was seeing from my end. I occasionally do get a dropped file out of every couple thousand of pulls. Not sure if this is normal or not. I think it’s safe to close out this ticket, though, since it seemed to be an EmuMovie issue from when they changed their passwords.

Also issues I am noticing with scrapping in general. This is just two basic games:
