Multithreaded Scraping Please

It is 2021, how does LaunchBox not have multi-threaded scraping in effect. This is seriously the slowest application frontend I have ever had the displeasure of using. It has been scraping images for NES one-at-a-time for hours now, it should be scraping a user-defined amount of images at once. This is not hard to implement, it saddens me, I really wanted to like LaunchBox but due to this fact I cannot in good measure leave a good review for it.

It does have multi-threaded scraping. It uses a download manager-style multi-threaded download strategy for each individual file.

It is unfortunate to hear you are not having the best experience. Probably not the most professional way to ask for something. Although you did say “Please” in the title. Next time you scrape images look for the option in the metadata wizard for image rough matching and uncheck it. This should help speed up downloads. There can also be other factors such as location. If you have a VPN try setting the VPN to a location in the Netherlands. Some users have claimed this helps.
