I have a problem importing playlists

Issue #6081 invalid
Muskillo created an issue

Hello, I have a problem. I import playlists (xml files) with the program closed so that it does not delete them and I place them in the "data" folder "Playlist" but they never appear in the program. The names are correct, as the same lists created by the platform and everything is well configured, but Launchbox does not recognize them.

Honestly have never done playlists this way but just tested and it worked fine. What does the internal data of one of your created files look like? Can you post pics of one with the least amount of data in it? Did you make sure the data format and data elements are similar to that of one of the LB created playlists?

The format of the data and the data are similar, although I do not understand much of the subject to understand what is inside a .xml file, in the download site (from the Launchbox forum: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/2317-massive-1000s-of-clear-logos-focusing-on-genrescategories-part-of-the-papaw-tv-collection/) they mention that it works correctly, but in other threads there are people with my same problem, although it only happened to them when they added the file with the program open; it did not happen to them when they closed the program. It happens to me in either case. The file on the left "Arcade Gauntlet" has been dragged into the "Playlist" folder and does not appear in Launchbox and the one on the right "Arcade Capcom Classic" has been created in Launchbox and appears correctly.

As can be seen, "Gauntlet" does not appear in the list. It's not just "Gauntlet" though, I've added over 50 items and even from other platforms and none of them appear in the lists if I drag the items to the "Playlist" folder.

You are in platform category view using playlists that don’t have parents assigned. In the drop down select playlists and they should appear there. If you want them to appear in Platform Category you need to right click the playlist and go to parents tab and assign them.

It is true. Thank you very much, no one has been able to help me so far, but now I have another problem. The list for example "Gauntlet" has no items and yet I have several games on the "Arcade" platform with the name "Gauntlet".

I answer myself, the lists are wrong, the name in the genre is not correct, it should be in the Title. Thank you very much for your help. Best regards.
