launchbox un-marks my games as completed

launchbox 11.11, windows 10, every time i open the app, you see, i have completed a bit over 100 games and marked them as sutch, but theres a problem, when i open the app it only has about 60 games marked as complete, ive re-marked the missing ones several times but every time i open the app theyre gone again. ive tried making custom back ups but they dont help either

Looks like Windows and SNES will have issues.

The thing I see that can cause this problem is you have secondary named platform xaml files in this folder and they should not be there. (Your SNES and Windows)

In the \Data\Platforms folder there should only be 1 platform xaml per platform. If any exist with the platforms name in it, but slightly altered LB will try to read them both. For example your “Super Nintendo Entertainment System.xaml” and that one named “Super Nintendo Entertainment System_2..xaml” (I cannot read the rest) will cause issues. LB will try and read them both. So remove any that share the same name as the original platforms.

If you want to keep backups or different versions you need to store them somewhere else.

It reads like the backup files in your directory WERE the cause for this issue so I am resolving ticket. If you are still having the issue let us know and I can re-open it.
