Feature Request: Add platform-level autohotkey / additional app capability

Greetings -

I’d like to be able to call external applications for additional functionality when a certain platform is selected. For example, if I select a ‘pinball’ platform in bigbox, I’d like to be able to automatically call a batch file or an autohotkey script to initialize a DMD for pinball-specific videos and other functionality while scrolling through the wheel of my pinball games that are listed under the ‘pinball’ platform.

I know that functionality exists for including scripting and/or additional apps at an individual rom / item level, and also somewhat at an emulator level - would it be possible to add this at a platform level as well?
