Local Co-Op Mode Fields

Greetings!

I would like a way to find games to play local co-op with my Launchbox system. I know there is a site called co-optimus which has a lot of the data for many games, I’m looking for a “couch co-op” field, or “co-op mode” to exclude “online only” or something along those lines.

You can easily create a new playlist and filter play mode to contain the word ‘simultaneous’. Pick and choose from there. Some games may be co-op, others may be vs. The metadata is possibly limited that way.

That field is called “Play Mode” inside of LaunchBox. At this time we don’t have too many scrapable sources to get that information. Steam offers it somewhat but most of the third party store fronts do not. At this time you would need to either manually enter this information into your game, or would need to find or create a plugin that scrapes the information from some where. I will leave this ticket open as a feature request to get something built into LaunchBox itself that would be able to scrape this information.
