Newest update causes crashes and corrupts install, forcing reinstall [11.17]

Recently updated launchbox to 11.17 and suddenly I’m having lots of errors and crashes when trying to download metadata. I was not having any of these issues previously. When the error happens, the application crashes, and upon attempting to restart the application I am met with another error stating that I need to install .NET Core 3.0, which I already have, I click yes, it opens up the download page, I download and install it again, does not fix the problem. You have to reinstall a brand new copy of launchbox to get it to open at that point. Then I go to download metadata again, and it does the same thing again.
