Metadata: Conversion/Port field

I would love to see another field added to metadata, were you could add the parent game name of conversions/clone/ports.
I love conversions of arcade games and having a way to filter them together by parent game would be cool.

There is a current way you can do this until such time maybe an official meta field is added. It is a manual process, but can at least give you want you need.

You can use the “custom field” option. Simply edit a game and under the Metadata option is a “Custom Fields” section. In the section you have options for “Name” and “Field”. Enter any name you want for the custom field and then enter any text you want for the custom field’s value.

From there you can edit any individual game or you can bulk edit games and the UI will show the custom field for you to edit. You can also use the custom field to make a playlist from if needed.
