Give users the option to hide certain filters within the sidebar.
I only use the platform, playlist, and genre categories in the drop down menu on the sidebar. Filters like (Games Missing Media), (LaunchBox Database ID), (Max Players), (Playmode), (Portable), (Publisher), (Rating), (Region), (Source), (Star Rating), (Status), etc, I have no use for and takes away from my user experience. It would be really helpful to give users the ability to hide all these other filters within the Launchbox settings.

reporter Because this feature is important to me, I'll be willing to pay the dev who implements it in Ethereum. I’ve requested this feature last year, but it was overlooked.

reporter I’ll be willing to pay a generous amount!

Two things. 1. Your request was not overlooked, it just has not garnered much in the way of users requesting the feature. Not that others have not requested, there just have not been very many. Our dev team is small (2). Focus most of the time is one the larger community requests. 2. Our dev has commented on not being interested in a pay-to-develop type strategy. You can read his direct response in this thread (post dated July 28).
