Retroarch fail do load Naomi Games / Retroarch(lasted_version) + flycast core When LB version is 12.4

After uptade 12.4 (LB), my Sega naomi and Sammy Atomiswave systems stopped working. I use Retroarch with the Flycast core. When I try to run the certain games, the Dreamcast Bios screen opens.
I tested the same game directly via Retroarch and it works perfectly.
I did a test with version 11.17, using the same roms and emulator/core versions and it works perfectly.

Can you check that the option to “Extract ROM archives before running” is not checked, inside of your RetroArch emulator settings that you use for these platforms. Let us know if that solves you issue.

The option mentioned is not present inside the retroarch, but in
manage emulators > retroarch in LB.

After unchecking the problem was resolved.

But the question remains, is it correct to leave it marked or unmark it?

Glad you found the setting. This is what I was referencing to.

Whenever you are dealing with Arcade ROM files, they cannot be extracted before playing, therefore, it is correct to uncheck, in this scenario.

Resolved by unchecking Extract ROM option in the Manage Emulator RetroArch configuration in LaunchBox.
