Suggestions other than game genre multilingual support

Issue #6546 new
PaPa S created an issue

I tested with Launchbox 15.1 Beta 3.

I feel very happy to see the lunchbox translated into Korean.

I want to elevate Lunchbox's multilingual support to the level of art.

The material scraped from the metadata is by default English text.

An important piece of information here is support for multilingual conversion.

Since the game genre text has a certain regularity, I believe that multilingual conversion is possible.

It would be nice if the game genre text was added to the translation file.

Also, it would be nice if a multilingual translation title item was added to the game title playlist.

I would like to have the English game title scraped from metadata be displayed by default, and if the user enters a game title in the local language in the Multilingual Game Title field, the local language game title will be displayed instead.

And it would be better if the search could search both English game titles and local language game titles when searching in English or in the local language.

Thank you.

We do have alternate name support, which should match the region of the rom you imported (if we have the name in the database). Unfortunately though that is a pretty new feature of the database and so many games do not have a translated title in the database as of right now to even scrape from.
