Settings corruption error

When trying to rename a title to be able to find it among the database, the program asks if you would like to update the metadata, and if “yes” is clicked, it produces the error shown in the attachment. After restarting the program, an error shows up stating that the settings xml file is corrupted, and to replace with a back up. This has been reproduced twice in the same way.
