Is it possible to make the platform details scroll just like the platform description does in BigBox? See attached screenshot of what I mean.

It is possible, but it is not a setting it is a theme code. So the theme creator or the user would have to edit the theme. That section could specifically be coded to scroll similar to the description section you are highlighting.
