Context menu position
It seems rather unintuitive to have context menu subfolders open to the left. Can they be opened to the right which is the standard way in most other applications?

reporter That’s strange. My Launchbox behaves the exact opposite. When there is room on the left subfolders will open to the left. When there isn’t enough space to the left subfolders will open to the right. What can be the cause of this? No other application on my computer behaves like this.

We respect your system setting. To check your setting open the Run window (Win+R) and type in “shell:::{80F3F1D5-FECA-45F3-BC32-752C152E456E}” (without the quotes). This should open up Windows tablet settings (doesn’t matter if your computer is a tablet or not, these settings still apply). Go to the “Other” tab and make sure your “Handedness” is set to Left-Handed. If it is set to Right handed Windows will try to open context menus to the left so as to not render them where your hand would be.

reporter Thanks! That solved it. Strange that other applications weren’t affected by the setting…

It’s a newer setting that older frameworks didn’t have access to but is built into WPF so not all applications play nice with it. Glad you got it sorted out though.

It does open to the right. It just depends on your menu's position in the window. It cannot open to the right if it is too far to the right of the screen due to the screen edge limit. Here is the same game menu with the game’s position to the screen edge being different.
