Feature Request: Native PS5 DualSense Controller support.

Issue #6710 new
Fugus created an issue

They have D4Windows as a wrapper for those who need it. But native support for games and apps can be implemented to natively support it. Was thinking it was working fine on Cemu till I tried it elsewhere and found out the developer had to specifically build it in.

And while I know all Emulators don’t support it yet, I know that Cemu and RetroArch do.

sdl2 support would take care of soooooo many controllers. It would allow us to use ds3, ds4, dual sense, joy cons, switch pro etc with out the issues that come from trying to use said controllers without a wrapper.

As an update to this, I noticed that it does work just fine in BigBox, but you have to redo the configuration to more properly suit it.

Might be a good idea to auto configure a PS5 controller when plugged it to match what people are accustomed to. Set mine up where “X” selected an item “O” went back, Square just launched the title and Triangle viewed the media
