Transitions should only apply to changing images

Using platform fan art in platform categories navigation to display system images as backgrounds results in the transition taking effect every time a new category or playlist is selected in the wheel. This results in a very frenetic experience, since even the crossfade causes a short, strobe-like effect as the image dims between navigation movements.

The alternative is to disable transitions, but having them when an image is meant to change is very nice, especially the crossfade between different platforms or game fan art.

Here is a video showing the issue. You can see the opacity dip as I move between categories and playlists while using platform fanart as a background.
