Launch Box Not Finding Windows Games

LaunchBox 12.11 is not finding Windows games to import such as Freecell, Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, Hearts and so on. This is on a Windows 10 system. Import always ends with no games found.

Are these the games pre-installed in the OS? I’m not sure those would show up in the MS importer because they aren’t from the store. You should be able to create a shortcut to those fairly easily though from the start menu, then import the shortcuts to LB to get them added to your library.

I do not see an option to import a shortcut into LB.

Kind of defeats the advantage of importing if I have to create the shortcuts first anyway.

All these games can be found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\

LB should be able to find them…no??

You can drag files to LaunchBox to import them. Could you verify for me what importer you were using? Were you using the Windows Games importer or the Microsoft Store/Xbox importer?

So I drag the EXE file into LaunchBox? Not clear on this.
