An option to not download videos upon ROM import, but instead, when you select a game, a refereced video from youtube or from emumovies. The URL to said videos would be set on LaunchBox DB and would be loaded upon ROM import. You could populate the Youtube channel by automating the uploading of videos from EmuMovies, the video title would follow the same information on Launchbox DB.

An option to limit the number of artwork to be downloaded/kept when importing ROMs. Like “Maximum background art: 1”, “Maximum Box art: 1”, “Maximum gameplay screenshot: 2”. That could also be used as a reference for the clean up tool to wipe all the excess images.

An option to show only games with missing artwork so we could work on fixing the broken ones. That would benefit the Launchbox Image database as well, since every non found artwork would get a user contribution.

LB has this feature. In the ledt hand pane where the platform list is click the dropdown arrow in the box where you can change from “Platform”, “Platform Category”, etc. and select the option for “Game Missing Media”. It will not populate several media types in the left pane you can select and that will show all the games missing that type of media.

You can also run the “audit” in Tools and sort the media columns to those with “0” media for the image types and edit from there.

Would prefer when creating tickets we make one ticket per request, just so it’s easier to track when the individual items are acted upon. That being said two of the items are already implemented. Retro808 explained one. The middle item can be done with our Media Limit tool inside of both the import and download media wizards as well.

YouTube links are also already in the DB and available, but we don’t auto-play them as it isn’t always possible since you can use LB without internet.

How nice if this is already in place can we get an option to fallback to it in case there’s internet and a local video file is not found ?
