Video play back, cartoons and games

I have been an avid user of launch box now for a while love it so much that I now own a licence and this is something hardly ever do with software unless it blows me away..

My Request is an ability to showcase or house videos... Just like how you select a Console and a game.. select a category (( IE cartoons )) Then an episode set or a collection, then have the video play via VLC full screen as it seems to always work well with everything..

You can already easily do this. Granted, Kodi and Plex do the job better, but this is something you can already do. You call the Platform what ever you want and add the video files to it. Either call them roms with the emulator being your video player of choice or let them be there with no associated program and it should launch in your default video player.
