Suggestion: The ability to lock specific values in metadata so they aren't changed when the metadata is updated.

Mainly thinking of this mainly in the case of customized names but could really be applied to any field, especially when used with the bulk edit tool.

But basically have the ability to lock specific fields in the metadata so that everything else in it updates except those fields.
