Launchbox keeps corrupting data

Hello, I keep giving me errors that certain data files are corrupted. Its not the first time this has happened to me.

Do you have any file syncing app going on?
Are you shutting the computer down while LaunchBox is open?
Are you force closing LaunchBox?

Typically that type of corruption is caused by LaunchBox being closed while writing to disk, or a file sync app messing with files while we are still trying to write to them.

No to all questions. I turn off my computer once all programs are closed, this is why I am confused it keeps happening to me.

My guess is that it’s happening when you shut down your computer. Two reasons for this:

1. After you close LaunchBox, it continues to save data information in the background for a while after. Open Task Manager and see how long LaunchBox takes to close as a background process. You’ll want to make sure not to shut down your computer until it’s fully removed from there.
2. If you have LaunchBox close to the system tray, it means that LaunchBox would still be open when you shut down your computer.

Both could cause what you are seeing.

Thank you for that information! I will definitely open task manager and keep an eye on how long launchbox takes to close before turning my computer off.
