Retroarch starts a 2048? game instead of game chosen

If you're opening to 2048 it means you have the 2048_libretro core assigned to that platform. Go to Tools > Manage > Manage Emulators. Find Retroarch and edit it. Go to the "Associated Platforms" tab and find the row for the platform your game belongs to and set it's core to the appropriate core.
