Hi, I'm new to launchbox but there are 3 things I would really love to see added to it:

1) Folders/Custom groups - Basically for those of us that have 30+ emulated consoles it would be nice to be able to make folders and group our platforms as we want (or even just pre-grouped folders like Nintendo, Sega, Microsoft, Sony, PCE, ect)

2) Console images & folder images (if that gets approved) with the option to have videos in the paid mode. So we can do things like add demo vids of our fav games to consoles or have say a demo vid of the super smash bros brawl lineup to represent the nintendo grouping.

3) A delete option added to the mame filter. If someone has downloaded a 50gb pack of arcade roms and 80% of those roms get filtered it would be nice to easily have them removed from the computer to free up some space.

Thanks a lot for making this great product and putting effort into making it user friendly.

1. Custom folders per system is essentially what we already have. The left side list is pretty much what you described. Now having folders within that to say, group a series together on that system would be very handy. However, with all the sorting and custom filter options there is a lot that can be done as is.

2. Console Images exist in BigBox, but LaunchBox never really needed it. However, we already do have a ticket for that on BitBucket so I would go vote for that. Essentially either console images on the left or icons for the left hand list. You can also already do video per game. Per platform will really only work in BigBox, and console demo's is also already another ticket.

3. MAME sadly doesn't work that way, nor is that process easy. There are already a few programs out there, clrmamepro, that already does this sort of thing. If we delete 1 game that could be several files and could throw off another game all together. I would search up the clrmamepro tutorial on the forums and see other programs that can already do this.

No problem, Jason and I love what we do and we love that users are dedicated enough like yourself. I think I am going to close this ticket because either there are already tickets for some of this or like with MAME that is something we're probably honestly not going to handle at least any time soon. I would normally mark it duplicate, but there are too many duplicates. You can make comments and vote on those tickets though to add your thoughts on them if you want though. Also, multiple idea's per ticket is a good way for your thoughts to get lost. 1 ticket per idea with a good title is extremely helpful. If you feel differently and want this ticket re-opened just let me know and I will re-open it for you.
