Can't navigate in pause screen with some DPAD-only gamepads (like iBuffalo SNES Pad or SFC30 from 8bitdo)

I can't navigate in pause screens with some DPAD-only gamepads (like iBuffalo SNES Pad or SFC30 from 8bitdo). The DPADs of these gamepads appear as LEFT STICK in LB (and not DPAD). I can control the cursor in LB fine, but not the left side in pause screens. Using the latest LB version (13.5). Would be great if someone could have a look at it. Thanks alot!
