Profiles / Support Multiple Launcher Accounts
I see some feature requests for profiles so that different filters for curated game lists can be supported in LaunchBox, but my request is slightly different.
My family (kids) all have their own Epic accounts in order to play F2P games. They all share the same computer and BigBox is used as the frontend. Unfortunately, right now it’s not possible to select which profile is launched into from LaunchBox/BigBox so that when they begin playing they can play on their own account, even from the shared machine. Right now they would have to log out and log in in to the (Epic/Steam/Origin/whatever) platform as their own user after every time someone else plays, which is a big hassle for them and not easy to do when they are only using a controller.
There is some OSS out to facilitate fast account switching from the same PC. As a reference: https://github.com/TCNOco/TcNo-Acc-Switcher

With the switch and steam deck offering multiple profiles I think It would be really cool to integrate this into big box. Zelda Windwaker only allows 3 save files and I’m using up 2 for my original playthrough and my new game + save. Would be nice for my wife to have the option to play completely fresh. Same with other nintendo games like pokemon where you can only have one save.

oh please, multiple user log in. when the wife plays, she doesn’t want to scan thru all of the platforms i have, she has a select few she likes.

Multi user login would be awesome. At the moment in order to manages saves for multiple users I have to prompt for the user via a script each game and then do some robocopy shennanigans to keep everyone on their own save files.
Would be awesome to not have to do this. -
