Unhighlight seperate database items in desktop mode

When I import my complete romsets there is sometimes crap i have to take care of manually deleting it from my database. No big deal. I scroll through the lists and highlight those single games using "ctrl+leftclick" and delete them afterwards using "del". If i want to unhighlight a single file from the selection, for example when i decided otherwise, I cannot deselect them using "ctrl+leftclick" again, like I am used to in most other object based gui in windows applications, or at least I can't figure that out on my own. So i have to cancel the complete selection and start all over again.
