I-PAC Ultimate I/O MAME default mamming doesn't navigate LB/BB

Issue #9197 invalid

I have this issue with latest LB version13.15.  I have an I-PAC Ultimate I/O based control panel.  MAME games with with the default settings work fine but when navigating LB, LB only recognizes the joystick for player 1 but not the buttons.  The controller is set to mimic Key commands.  Button  one sends L Ctrl as MAME expects.  I see nowhere in LB or BB to change the settings other than Tools->Options->Game Controllers->Mappings.  But I have a black list for controllers and mappings don't recognize and keyboard or control panel presses.  It looks like LB wants a keyboard "Enter" to select and item (as button 1).  What's the solution?  I'm not going to remap MAME to match LB that's crazy.

If you have to IPAC set to mimic keyboards then in BB you need to map your BB navigation controls in the Keyboard Mapping section. LB by default uses a keyboard for input to navigate around inside it so you would not need to remap anything in LB. However, trying to use a arcade control style input device with LB directly is not the most seamless since LB is more of the PC/Desktop style of our frontend and BB is more geared towards using arcade control panels/gamepads.

The IPAC should also have defaults set for things like Escape, Enter, or Tab. Such as hold P1 Start and hit P1 Coin for “Escape”. I believe these are all programmable.

Thank you. I didn’t notice the IPAC pins that default to P, Escape, Enter, or Tab. That was the solution I was looking for.
