Controller not working

My 8BitDo controller won’t work in games. It is connected, and my PC makes the sound so it knows it’s in, but it fails to work in games. It is USB connected, by the way. Please fix this and/or tell me what I need to do to fix it.

    LB/BB does not control the emulator function with regards to in game controls. You would need to open the emulator exe directly and ensure your controls are mapped and the emulator can detect your controller.
