The only thing with this, is it may be AA specific. Have you turned AA up on the Nvidia Control Panel?

I also wonder if it's a bug with the Intel HD 6000 drivers. Unfortunetly the CPU is doing two jobs and that can effect things as well. Have you also tried turning it to Performance in the Intel Control Panel and turning off Power Saving Mode, if the settings are different?

I tried several setting on my nvidia gpu and I cannot reproduce the problem on that specific card. As for the Intel card, I disabled everything I could see in the intel control panel. The issue is less noticeable. The power setting is set on Maximum performance. The box is a 2 (4 with HT) core 1.6ghz i5 Intel NUC which is probably part of the issue (getting about 15 fps in coverflow mode, 60 fps with the wheel scrolling).

After creating the ticket I tried on another computer 2 (4 with HT) core 2.2ghz i5) with intel HD 5500 and the same issue is there. Windows 7 with old gpu driver (about a year old).

I dont think something could be done on your side. Intel GPU are crappy by definition.

We've actually just had this conversation about these drivers and the integrated graphics with the CPU actually. You're more than welcome to chime in on that conversation. https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/troubleshooting/coverflow-and-intel-hd-4000-is-very-slow-choppy

Unfortunetly I do believe you are correct. There might be little we can do in this department, however there may be ways for us to lessen this, so I will leave this ticket open until Jason can say wether or not we can fix or alievate this for our users.

It's also worth noting that BigBox will perform less favorable on the older Operating Systems. It's actually best on Windows 8.1 and even better on Windows 10 due to the backend improvements Microsoft made to a lot of their graphical engines, so that could be a possible solution as well. Windows 10 takes about the same requirements as 8.1 and all together are about the same if not better for machines that were slugish with Windows 7 surprisingly.
