Implement delayed emulator launch functionality

I posted about this a long time ago, but thought I should submit a bitbucket request for it as well. I'd like to be able to use the "automatically run after main application" functionality as an option in the emulator details section... essentially delaying its own launch. There is a very specific use scenario for this - SSF. If this were implemented, it would facilitate a disc image to be mounted in daemon tools and then the emulator would launch once the mounting is complete. The way I currently do this is via the additional app method, with SSF listed as the additional app. What I'd like to be able to do is just make it part of the emulator settings itself so that the launch is always delayed. Obviously it wouldn't still be called "launch after main application" because that wouldn't make much sense in this situation, but the functionality is the same; maybe something like "Delayed launch (for use with SSF)" or some such.
