Some Improvement Suggestions

• adding Paysafecard payment

• adding detailed information about downloading/queued files (kb/s, file size, expected time, how many files, etc.)

• option to pause downloads

• filter options when importing roms [ROM suffixes like "(U), (E), (b1), (t1)"]

• function to detect dupes in the library (maybe if the games use the same images, i dunno)

• change the order when importing roms to: 1. import files 2. show them in the list 3. download the images at the very end This would make it much more comfortable if importing large libraries cause you don't need to wait till every image is loaded to play the games or arange them etc.

• show downloaded images directly after they are downloaded, so you don't have to wait till the whole queue is finished (sure if it's possible)

• right click on game to update it's image (would be faster than to use the wizard)

Would be nice to hear your thoughts about this if you have time for it.

A lot of these are duplicates and already exist in the BitBucket. Tickets work best when it is 1 request or theme for the ticket. I know that the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th ones are duplicates.

Payment options I wont comment on. Per Rom suffixes, we have two concerns. One is performance and the other is scraping. Performance in terms of the amount of time it will take to import your games can go severely up, and both concerns are linked to this. The more logic we add, the longer it will take to parse your current list of games. If we also allow all that extra information in the name, scraping would also need to have extra logic in order to search the internet, and it would most likely break and be extremely problematic. Not saying we can't do it, but it's not an easy thing to solve actually. Also, we don't suggest Sets that offer all the duplicate entries like that, we do suggest No Intro sets where possible, which then also lessens the duplicate issue. That said, you can show the file name in the game details bar, and while not perfect, helps a lot more currently.

I am not 100% qualified to answer the import ordering either. For the right click to update media, that sounds like a good idea but we would still want to let the user choose what they want to download. We do have a lot of users with bandwidth caps. In terms of the updating, we are going to work towards making the update process from our Database a lot smoother so that you can potentially Schedule LB when to check the Database and update any new meta that you don't have or replace existing media with newer media.

These are good idea's though, thank you for taking the time to voice your opinion. We appreciate it very much. If you would be so kind as to search for the duplicates though, and don't forget to vote on them. If you can't find them I can certainly provide the links for you if you need them.

Otherwise, I don't quite know what to do with this ticket. It's partially invalid, partially duplicated and partially completely valid.
