Issue #122 new

Including child objects in serialized output

Anonymous avatarAnonymous created an issue

The best way that i have found to include child objects in the serialized output is the following: fields=( "username", ("schools",(),), ("phone_numbers",(),) )

Here, schools and fields are have a ForeignKey relationship with user.

However, I didn't see this in the documentation. If I specify the above as

("schools","phone_numbers",)

these objects are serialized as <django.db.models.fields.related.RelatedManager object at 0x1ae2250>

Is this the desired behavior or is there a better way to do this?

Thanks. Loving Piston so far!

I believe the tip code will follow relations as you'd expect. It does for me, at least.
