Issue #266 open

P3D2::Command line utility to open MacHg with the current directory

created an issue

I like MacHG and would use it more if I wouldn't be such a command-line junky.

For instance GitX has a nice feature: There is a menu entry "Enable command line usage ....". If that is called it installs a utility /usr/local/bin/gitx. No when I'm in a directory on the shell and I type gitx then the gitx application is opened with the git archive that the current directory is in.

A similar utility machg would make MacHg an absolute killer for me

    THanks for the report,

I have definitely thought about adding this. I am very open to contributions here, if anyone wants to copy the code from gitX and port it to MacHg :)

    Cheers, Jas

I would love this too and I may get around to adding it someday. The gitx utility does a lot of things but the one I use most is just opening the current directory. I think at least `open -a MacHg .` should work. All it takes for that to work is for MacHg to be able to open directories which should probably be much easier to add than all of the gitx utility.
