Checkerboard images occur infrequently with unauthorized time-limited demo software

Occurs very infrequently: unlicensed reconstructions require a network time check to validate time-limited features. Occassionally an image appears with a watermark, indicating either a network failure or a network timeout. Frequency of occurrence is less than 1 in 100 reconstructions.

No report of this recently, but most beta sites use a dongle now, so the problem is no longer an issue.

v0.9.20 adds a configuration option to set authorization timeout. The site that had this issue also seems to have a problem with DNS timeouts. Closing this one out.
