Text Lists vs. Fields with spaces

Issue #1271 new
Jim Rea repo owner created an issue

If a field name contains spaces, it won’t work in a Text List when using the @ syntax, for example

@Company Name

will not work. However, it does work if you set it up with a constructor. This is because the constructor sets up a formula, instead of deriving the formula from the column specifications. But this causes another bug – if you set up a Text List object with the Constructor wizard, then manually change the column specifications, the formula doesn’t change.

Here is a Text List created with a constructor. Works fine even though 2 of the fields have spaces in the name.

If I delete the formula, it should still work. But it doesn’t.
